I have a 2002 E46 M3 with 46,000 miles. My oil temp will range from 180 ish on cool days to 210 on warmer days. Never getting above 210. The radiator temp never changes. Is this normal and to be expected, or is this a sign of something worse? Thanks

That's pretty much the way mine runs in the same conditions.

For many years now BMW temperature gauges have been electronically buffered to indicate dead-center as long as the coolant temperature is "normal" for the operating conditions. I think about the only time I've seen mine move even a needle's width above center is in high summer, A/C running, ambient temp near 100°F and idling in traffic for fifteen minutes. For all the real information it provides it might as well be a three-stage idiot light ("I'm cold," "I'm OK" and "helpme helpme helpme!"). :(

So, yes, sounds like you're fine.
