Am looking at possibly replacing my front seats with a "CSL equivalent" from Recaro. I know that the original E46 M3 CSL seats were made by Recaro but am unsure what the equivalent model would be commercially. I do plan on getting the black leather to match the Nappa leather currently in the car. I do not have the power seat package. I would also like to hear from anyone who may have done this modification too. Much thanks....
Sorry to go OT, as I have absolutely no idea input on the Recaro CSL equivalent, but I just wanted to say hi to you - we met at the Little Caesars parking lot in Madison a couple of months ago. This is Ray with the silver E36 M3. Let me say it again - beautiful car! Actually, this may not be completely OT, as I would love to see these seats on the beast once you get them in! Hey neighbor! Been wondering if I might run into you again. Good to hear from you. I haven't gotten any feedback though on the seats. I'm going to give Will Turner a call and see what the equivalent would be. I did see a real CSL set on eBay for about 3800.00 pounds British.......do the math....ouch... cheers!
You want a recaro pole position. I have them in my e46 they are awesome. That is about as close as it gets.
