I have a 2003 530i automatic with 100k miles. The other day a/c stopped working( no compressor kicking on).Fed 12v to clutch and it engages. All temp functions and light work on control panel. upon further checking fuse 75 was blown. Disconnected aux fan and supplied 12v fan attempted to turn and then started to smoke so I assume the fan is ng. Would this fan not working cause A/C to stop working.
Problem #2 is that when attempting to locate fuse 75 I had to move the GM module and diconnected one of the connecters from it. At that point the alarm went off, when I reconnected it the alarm shut off and car starts but keys will no longer lock or unlock doors, interior lights stopped working and central locks don't work from switch on console. Central locking and alarm work when using key in l/s door. Trunk will also open using button on key. Help!
