We have a '98 M3 Convertible where the HVAC system works great except.... if you have the blower on everything is fine, until you push the a/c button. As soon as you do it, it's like all of the vents are shut off. You can hear the blower still at the same speed, you can feel a trickle (and I mean a trickle) of ice cold air come out, but it's like it has a bad servo motor that is closing all of the vents. It only does this when pushing the a/c button and it doesn't matter if the re-circulate is on or off.

Any ideas? I'm guessing that it's one of the motors in that control the flaps, but I don't know which one and if it's on the drivers or passengers side.

Thanks in advance for any assistance!!
