    Hi,

When changing the cruise control cable (E30), how do you get the actuator to pay out a little slack to get the proper cable length?

    Thanks,

    Allright,

I got it figured out. I spent about an hour farting around with this thing that should have taken about 5 minutes max. It seems that there is a channel inside the actuator end of the cable. The clevis must be oriented correctly to move back and forth in that channel. If you have it wrong the cable will appear to be too short. Get it right and it works as advertised.

    Cheers,

    Ron
