Anyone ever had the clutch over-center helper spring fall out on them? Mine came out of my M6 while driving down the highway the other day. Spring, bolt, bracket, everything. Just wondering if anyone else has expereienced this? Thanks.
Happens all the time. The E28 is identical down there and it isn't a real fun job getting it back in. You might consider joining up over at MyE28.com and see if there are any of our wrench gurus near you. It might only cost you a couple of beers and an unsightly sedan gracing your driveway for an hour or two.
