There's not a forum set up under 5-series for the F10's, so I'll try this general forum. Has anyone been able to stream music through Bluetooth (and not use an audio cable to the AUX input) using a recent Droid cell phone? I tried a very recent Samsung Charge today with no luck. It's easy to pair the phone capabilities, but I can't get music to work (and I've checked that option on the Bluetooth setup). It appears this is a result of BMW strongly favoring the IPhone. My F10 was produced in October 2010 (did a European delivery). Now for cars produced after March, 2011, BMW has added BMW Connect and BMW Apps. Can this be retrofitted to my earlier model F10. My local BMW service center has no idea. Furthermore, I'm not 100% sure what these new capabilities are (other than being able to stream Pandora, for example). Is an IPhone required for these capabilities to be functional? Thanks for any feedback.
