Is there a shop in Atlanta Area that can rebuild a driveshaft with replaceale u-joints. If no one near where is the closest or the shop that does good work.
After I sent my E24 shaft off to the West Coast for a rebuild, I later found out from a friend that I could have had some high quality work done by just driving it over to Doraville, on Buford Highway. I believe the company name is Doraville Driveline and Spring Co. or something like that. No personal experience from me, but two other BMW drivers of older cars gave them a thumbs up for their work
Check with www.drivelinesvcofatlanta.com. They rebuilt the driveshaft of my E30. They used the original style (staked-in) U-joints but may have options.
