My son's '97 328i (sport seats) has a peculiar failure of the plastic seat back where it attaches at the bottom. I have pulled the seat and tried to repair it, but it promptly fails again. Does anyone know of a source for these molded seat backs? The seats are still servicable (although worn) but this failure causes the seat to be almost unusable.
apparently they're NLA from BMW, you might have to find a used seat or get the panel off a junkyard car (assuming they'll let you take just that part)
