Any recommendation(s) as to what (and how) to detail/rinse/clean after a "salty" winter? I am planning on keeping my car for a long time and would like to minimize risks of rust and corrosion down the road. Thank you!

Here's where a trip to the DIY car wash can help. Use the pressurized hose or brush on the undercarriage and wheel wells to remove as much briny residue as possible. The various online detailing vendors carry products for removing undercarriage slime and grime.
