In Saturday’s two-and-one-half-hour Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge race at Road America, in Elkhart Lake, Wis., the No. 84 BimmerWorld Racing 328i of James Clay (US) and Tyler Cooke (US) was the highest placing BMW in the field with an 15th place finish in the Street Tuner (ST) class. A 24th place finish was scored by the No. 54 JDC-Miller Motorsports 228i duo of Michael Johnson (US) and Stephen Simpson (ZA). Two additional BMWs entered in the race were damaged in practice and did not start. The class was won by the No. 17 Porsche Cayman of Nick Galante (US) and Spencer Pumpelly (US).
