Cruise control Relocation ?

    Finally supercharging my 97 M3. Just a couple of questions though, if anyone has done this themselves. Doesn't seem difficult at all. But the big question I have after reading the install, Why do you need to relocate the cruise control? Any way I figure since I don't have the "new" harness, I would just splice in some wire to make it longer, but would rather not as this seems retarted. I guess if there's nothing else to make it fit, then so be it. other's expirience on this would be great.

    You probably have to do it because the stock location interferes with the new airbox.
