My Z4 has 44,000 miles and now is due for new rear tires. The rear of my car shows signs of excessive negative camber due to my being a rather large guy and we tend to drive long weekends with a full trunk. My question is, does anyone know a really competent chassis / alignment shop that will properly pre-stress the car so that the alignment is correct with a moderate to heavy load? This way my tire wear for the next set should be more normal and even across the treads. Does anyone know if the car's factory adjustability in this area can properly compensate for this or will it require an aftermarket kit? Perhaps someone who works with one the 'tuner' companies will have a good guess for me I hope. Thanks for everyones feedback. (If not, I'll limp along as is until the warranty runs out and perform my own engineered fix as I've done in the past)
