Hello, I recently acquired an '01 z3 3.0 roadster and have been loving it so far. However recently when I get to work in the mornings, I have had an odd issue with the key fob not locking the car. I have tried using the key in the trunk to lock the doors in that fashion, but only the trunk locks. The odd part is after some time after parking, I will come back to try and lock it again and it magically works again. The same applies to the trunk lock, where turning the key in that will lock the whole car. I have a feeling the previous owner made an electrical nightmare for me, but if anyone has any insight I would love to hear it as I am pretty confused.
