Larry Engel New Jersey Chapter I am seeking a second term as North Atlantic RVP to continue bringing multiple constituencies together to deal with the challenges facing the BMW Car Club of America and to help improve the membership experience for the widest possible cross section of members. Since my first term began in the Spring of 2022, I have spent a lot of time with the North Atlantic chapters learning about their successes and their frustrations. I believe this knowledge and my continued passion about seeing the club grow and prosper will serve the North Atlantic Region and the entire membership well, and I look forward to a second term if I’m elected. People join the BMW Car Club of America for a variety of reasons, and there are several constituencies who are very vocal about promoting and maintaining their favorite programs. I don’t want to see any of our favorite programs disappear. We must maintain them to the extent possible in the current environment. I also believe we must develop a new generation of BMW enthusiasts to maintain the relevance and health of the club. New programs and activities are needed to do this, and we also need to get back to a grass roots effort to build our membership from present and future generations. Our ability to improve our programs will go hand in hand with increased membership. My main goal is to improve membership numbers by working with chapters and the National Office to spread the word and let non-member BMW enthusiasts know what the CCA can provide from both a local and a National standpoint. I look forward to spending 3 more years helping people enjoy the BMW experience in whatever way they want to express it, and I respectfully ask for your vote and your support.
