I'm in need of this piece that covers the side of the diving board bumpers on an E30. I have attached pictures of what the deal is. I also provided a picture of the other side to show that it's the long side-market light and not the "fat" one that some other E30's have. The parts store nearby only has the one that has the "fat" marker light. (And the dealer wants $160 for the part. ) I need: Reference (other side): Does anyone have a parts car or an extra lying around?
sometimes you luck out on Ebay w/ stuff like that - also check Roundel classifieds, you may find someone parting out an E30, or usually the major BMW dismantlers have ads (but they'll be more expensive probably than an ebay deal, or individual sale). You presumably rolling again?
That must have just been listed because I've been checking eBay literally every few days for months looking for that piece and almost every piece I found was for the passenger side OR the driver's side at an insanely expensive price. The one above is the absolutely perfect fit and I just happened to only have $3. My luck. I've checked the Classifieds, Roundel, eBay, internet, dealer, used parts store nearby, and I either can't find it or can't find it at a reasonable price. $15 is a very good deal. Hopefully it will still be there on Friday...
