Has anyone out there come up with the solution to replacing or repairing the brake vacuum booster? The original units supposedly are not repairable. With so many of the classic 1600's and 2002's still on the road, there must be some way to keep the brake system in good running order.
Unfortunately I know naught about 2002's, but would think an email to Mike Self or any of the appropriate parties listed here (http://bmwcca.org/index.php?pageid=vintage_and_classic) might get you some well-informed answers...
