I'm driving a 2001 Z3, E36/7. My brake pad wear sensor light came on, after replacing rotors, pads, and sensor (front and rear) the sensor light remains illuminated. I've doubled checked the sensor cable connections, both appear fully seated. Question, does the indicator light require a computer reset once the pads and sensor are replaced or do I still have an open circuit somewhere, perhaps a broken connector.

There is no reset. As long as you are sure the sensor is connected and good, give it another day of driving.

After posting, saw earlier question about the same problem from an E46 owner. Turning the key to the "on" position for 15 seconds did the trick. Thanks to whoever helped earlier.
