Boston Chapter NH FUN RALLY 11/3/2012 Eduardo and Marcy have updated a former Fun Rally Route that starts in Wakefield/Sanbornville NH on Rt. 16 at the Miss Wakefield Diner and ends at the Historic Eagle Mountain Resort in Jackson NH. We will meet at 10AM sharp at the NH Rest Area at the border of Mass. & NH on Rt. 95 on Saturday, November 3rd and then caravan/proceed to the Miss Wakefield Diner in Wakefield/Sanbornville NH 03872. We will stage the Rally from the Miss Wakefield Diner at approximately 11:00AM. The Rally route is approximately 60 miles in length and should allow for a lunch stop in North Conway before finishing the Rally in Jackson NH. This fun rally is touring through the back roads on the White Mountains in New Hampshire. The rally’s purpose is to learn the local area and realize the therapeutic value of a country drive. This rally is very user friendly and is designed to be enjoyed by beginner as well as expert and the main reason to participate is to have fun. There will be three prizes for the winners. Michael Mangini has arranged that the Red Jacket Resort in North Conway will be the host hotel for the Event. The hotel is located on Rt. 16 just before the Town of North Conway and the room rate is $129.00 per night plus tax. You need to book your own rooms at the hotel. When you call them at (800)752-2538 you need to mention that you are a BMW CCA Car Club member in order to secure your room for the preferred rate. The room rate is available for Friday night as well if you want to stay another night and then meet us at the diner on Saturday at 11AM. The Rally cost is $25.00 per car payable via PayPal on the Chapters website registration page. We will have dinner on Saturday evening at a selected restaurant and a breakfast brunch on Sunday morning at the Red Fox restaurant also in Jackson. We will stop at the Jackson Covered Bridge after brunch for a group photo opportunity before we part ways and return to Mass. Please sign up on the Boston Chapters Website at www.boston-bmwcca.org . The Close Date for this Rally will be one week before the Event on Saturday October 27th in order to give a headcount to the restaurants involved. This Event is only for BMW CCA members. At the SPLIT of Rts. 95 and Rt. 128 EXIT headed North on Rt. 95. Continue North until you get to MA/NH border. Turn OFF Rt. 95 into the Rest Stop area. We will leave from the Rest Area at 10:05AM SHARP to continue the trip up to the Miss Wakefield Dinner. Directions to Miss Wakefield Dinner from MA/NH Rest Stop: Leave the Rest Area and continue North of Rt. 95. Once you enter the Portsmouth NH area you will want to EXIT LEFT at Exit 4 North to White Mountains and Rt. 16. It is about a 40 minute drive up to the Miss Wakefield NH diner. As you pass through the second set of traffic lights on Rt. 16 you will see a Mobile Gas Station the diner is just a mile from the second set of traffic lights on the left side of Rt. 16 as your driving north.
