Boston Chapter's annual Concours d'Elegance and Show & Shine
    Sunday, September 12, 2010 - 9:00AM - 3:00pm Wagner BMW of Shrewsbury MA
752 Boston Tpke (Route 9) Shrewsbury, MA 01545

Event Registration opens Tuesday, Jul 6

Mark your calendar for the Boston Chapter's annual Concours d'Elegance and Show & Shine on Sunday, September 12, 2010 starting at 9AM and ending at 3PM. This year, we are excited to return to Wagner BMW of Shrewsbury, MA for a fun day of friends, cars, and awards. Our rain date is Sunday, September 19, 2010, but let's hope for a spectacular, sunny day like we had in 2009.

If you think that a Concours is only for those people who trailer their car and never drive it, think again! Our Chapter's Concours has classes for everyone. Even your daily driver or your autocross car is eligible to participate. Many have entered, and some have won!

Still, having your car judged is not for everyone; so, we added the Show & Shine classes several years ago. These classes have been enhanced every year, and are pretty simple: show up, park, and walk around. That's it!

All participants are eligible to win awards. In prior years, we've had a great selection of cars, from classics to the latest models. Of course, your MINI is welcome, too. Bone stock? Highly modified? Not a problem - you're welcome.

The Concours Registrars , Baer Connard, Mitchell Brown and John Sullivan, invite you to participate in planning and running this year's event. Please consider helping run the Concours. See our "Help Wanted" box on this page for more information. Your ideas and your talents can help make this the best Concours the Chapter has ever had. Please stay tuned to Bimmer, the Chapter web site (www.Boston-BMWCCA.org), and your email for more details as the planning progresses over the next few months.

We will award trophies for first and second place in the Concours class. Trophies will be awarded for first, second and third place for the following classes:
    • Casual
    • Early Clean
    • Late Clean
    • Early Super Clean
    • Late Super Clean.

We will award one trophy for each of the following categories:
    • Favorite Modified
    • Favorite Race Prepared
    • Best MINI
    • Peoples Choice

This year we will be offering Pre-Registration for the Event via PayPal (www.boston-bmwcca.org) for judged and non judged classes. The fee is $20.00 or you can register and pay when you arrive at the Concours. Spectators are free! The first 25 persons who Pre-Register will receive complimentary Car Care Kits courtesy of Wagner BMW of Shrewsbury.

Event Coordinators: Baer Connard, Mitchell Brown & John Sullivan

    Boston here we come!

Glad to see the posting for this event. Several Patroon members have expressed interest in participating, so we will start spreading the word within the chapter.

Just three days until the Boston Chapters Concours! Shine 'em up and show 'em off.... let's gather and see what has been lurking on the roadways of Eastern MA. I know there are a few M1's living in the area.

We will be there! We were going to go super clean, but since our hood will not open, I guess it is simply clean for us. Scott and Sarah Gold will be working this one, so they will also be repin' for the Patroonies.
