The central locking system on my 5 series is currently malfunctioning. Only the driver's door will lock but not unlock using the key FOB or the dashboard lock button. Trunk will unlock but not the gas cap door. There are on-line bits and pieces addressing this issue. Most point to a fuse. Service adviser at my local dealer is unable to immediately identify the cause. Any insight will be appreciated while I await the results from a service appointment.
Diagnosed as a faulty "Electronic Module Junction Box". Diagnostics, part, installation, program to vehicle - $2000. Ouch !
