Can you direct me to a site that shows the evolution of the 3- and 5-series cars? I'd like to be able to tell the age of cars I encounter on the road. I see the photos on the CCA site, and they're helpful, but they don't provide enough of an evolutionary picture that front and rear photos from one model change to the next would offer. I'm new to BMW (2 yrs now) after driving Mercedes since 1987 (an '81 240D I still have and a '97 E300D I gave my brother). I can tell the approximate age of the MBs I encounter, but not the Bimmers.
