Nope, just a 325is. lol He can only dream of having an E30 M3, just like the rest of us crazy E30-heads. Very unique car you've got; not only is the car itself rare, but it's got a very unique flair to it that you just don't get from any other "normal" road car sold at a dealership. Do you drive it often?
thank you so much for the compliment and yes she is my daily driver i like every BMW i had a 318i and a 635csi back in the days. as well as a 535i. and right now i'd be happy to have a 325i well, i should say two MAF of a 1992 325i or 525i. maybe you guys know someone? these MAF are 3 inch in diameter and the only year with a round-six-prong plug. that becomes an important issue when force feeding air to these engines...lol
I take it you mean you need mass air flow sensors for your car? Can't say I have any sources to suggest other than ebay or Roundel advertisers. Since you have such a unique car, what is it's story and how did you come to have it?
yes , i got plans on a supercharger for my engine on the table. i am not sure , yet weather it will be a rootcharger at the aux alternator mouting point or two very visible root chargers. the MAF's of 92 325i and 525 i are 3 inch in diameter. and have round six prong plugs. i am still looking for a few more sponsors for that project. the car is available pretty much every weekend for exhibitions.
If anyone is around LA, you should definitely check this out. http://links.emails.bmwusa.com/serv...r=NDAxMjY5ODA5MwS2&j=MTA3NzQ4MDc5S0&mt=1&rt=0
OTOH, unfortunately, my favorites are the original (the Calder CSL) and the Ken Done E30 M3. Nonetheless, I find the Warhol M1 to be a very interesting work that must be seem in person to be appreciated. No photos I have ever seen do the surface textures (including a remarkably thick CLEAR COAT) justice. I harbor an active dislike for the Rauschenberg ...
the M1 is growing one me. and yes , calders car is very interesting as well. especially it being the first of all art cars
