Is there a way to connect my Blackberry to my 2005 330CI to listen to my music from the BlackBerry through the system in the car? I am planning a road trip for next weekend and I have lots of music on my Blackberry. Is there a simple gadget to purchase. I really don't want to have to pay for it to be re-wired. Not sure how long I will keep the Blackberry or the car. Thanks for your help.
Does your car have an AUX IN jack? If so, you can get a 1/4" (3.5mm) stereo male-to-male headphone cord to connect your Blackberry's headphone output to your AUX IN jack on your stereo.
No personal experience but I would like to give this a shot: http://www.bavariansoundwerks.com/product/405/282/BSW-Auxiliary-Audio-Input-Kit-for-BMWs/
Can you go Bluetooth to FM and use your radio? I have a device that connects my Droid via Bluetooth and transmits to my FM radio. That is how I listen to Pandora.
If both the car and his Blackberry support Bluetooth Audio, that would work Other than that, the other two other options I can see are: - retrofitting USB or AUX port to your car via dealer (expensive) or - you can use a wireless FM transmitter commonly sold by electronics stores. This is kind of a cheap but weak solution, as FM transmission is notoriously susceptible for static and interference, and it trashes the audio quality.
I had the dealer install the aux in and it was 50 for the install and around 75 for the part from Bav Sound
