I have a BMW 3 series Bentley manual. It references using the A bolt to limit the vertical travel of the window. My windows do not fit flush now. The window also clicks once its at its highest position and will not stop clicking till you stop pressing the button. I know this is not normal, so will an adjustment fix it or should I invest in new regulator motors??

    Thanks

You don't say which 3er you have, but this sounds like an E30 problem. We had the same situation on the passenger window of our 04/85 325e. Worked fine, but made a terrible sound at the top of its travel. In our case we needed a new old-style regulator.

Thanks, that is my assessment too. Checked out Bavarian Auto parts and they are about 250.00 each per side. Looks like a little more wrenching time!
