Just bought a 2015 Alpine White 428i. What is the best wax? I want to clay bar the the hood, roof, and trunk. Which clay bar is best - and is a clay bar OK to use? Thanks

I don't think you can go wrong with Griot's. I'd be hard pressed to think there's any reason your car's finish wouldn't be just fine for the clay-bar prep process. Watch this to get some familiarity with the process - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kCRZY2WVjqU

You can get boxes of blue nitrile gloves at Harbor Freight, note they have several sizes so get whatever's a good fit, if you're inclined to get & use gloves.

I have used the Griots clay bar a 3 or 4 cars and liked the results. I was reading in Grassroots Motorsports that the detailer they use recommended Griot's Brilliant Finish Synthetic Clay. I have not used that one yet, maybe when mine is gone I will try it.
