Bentley Manuals Arrived

    Had my 44th Bday on Friday and the UPS man delivered my E39 Bentley Manuals Vol1 and 2. Spent most of the evening reading.. Great Stuff

    Congrats Mike. I'd like to say the pdf would have worked better, but when you're working on your car in the middle of whoknowswhere, it doesn't. Books last forever and don't run out of batteries.

    Nuh uh. My binding's already off and the pages are gonna fall out next.
    Besides, it won't last forever if I set fire to it. ;)



    Happy belated. Hopefully that book isn't only for research and it will help you greatly in your DIY journeys. It certainly has helped me tackle some things I wouldn't have dared to do without assistance.

    Happy Birthday and good reading, Michael. When I got my Bentley manual in the mail, I spent the rest of the night reading it cover-to-cover too. My fiance said I was crazy. Am I? LOL

    I bought the "manual" for the e39's off ebay,

    It uses the dealership software to diagnose problems and such.

    Still trying to find the bently's used somewhere.

    Did you get the TIS and the ETK DVDs? They are really sweet. I have them myself. The ETK really helps when you need a parts list for a particular project.
