Finally got my car running again. However, using the Bavarian Technic Diagnostic software, I find the following codes persistently showing up: CDAD: CDAD Message (requirement road wheel torque drive line, BF) Error will not cause a warning light Error is not currently present Test conditions have been completed Timeout CE91: Message (DSC-Sensor, L4,L6W: OF4,0D8,0E3, L2: OEC,OCD,ODl) of F-CAN Error will not cause a warning light Error is not currently present Test conditions have been completed A8C1: Right back-up light defective Error will not cause a warning light Error is currently present Test conditions have been completed Timeout A8C0: Left back-up light defective Error will not cause a warning light Error is currently present Test conditions have been completed Timeout The last two, the back-up lights not working, I already checked the light bulbs and the bulb carrier. No problem there. And the car does not have an external back-up switch on the transmission either. Any suggestions for any of the codes above are appreciated.
Hey, thanks for your quick reply. Today I checked and I had a second person helping me. I found the following. The lights actually work. But they are LED bulbs. Once you start the car, and it's not even in reverse the bulbs blink a couple of times and when the car is put in reverse they light up. I think the problem is the LED bulbs. I will replace them tomorrow with regular light bulbs and hope the fault will go away. I will let you know. Now I only have to figure out the first two fault codes ...

Those are just message faults if you don't have any lights or issues I would not worry about them they won't cause issues. If you are getting warning lights then will have to be diaged.
