The underwear is fine, but I'm pretty sure the suit is not legal in SCCA or likely anywhere else. SCCA requires SFI 3-2A/1 minimum specs. There should be a patch saying this on the arm, back of the collar, or inside at the base of the collar. I see none here. Most drivers wear multi-layer SFI 3-2A/5 or higher suits, which do not require Nomex underwear (but everyone wears it anyway). FIA suits are also approved, but they, too, will have a prominent patch indicating the specification, and I do not see one here. If the seller claims it has one, I'd demand a photo of it. Otherwise, you may end up with nothing more than racy flame-resistant pajamas.
