Hi there, I'm trying to find out if anyone has an SRS airbag light reset tool that I might be able to use. My light has been on for a long time, and inspection is right around the corner. I'd be willing to hook you up with some cash and/or beer(s) It's for a 97 M3. Regards, George
Not sure, but I think our tool steward may have one. Look him up on blueridgebmwcca.org. Resetting the light alone may not help, though. If there is the common problem with the seat belt pretensioner then the light will probably come right back on. If, however, you caused the issue by unplugging one of the parts and turning the key on, resetting it is the way to go. Where in RIC are you?
I'm right next to Fritz'. I called them this morning, but Mike is out of town until tues... Are you in Richmond? Just trying to get the car to pass inspection on the cheap.
I used to work for Mike when he owned Bavarian Motors! Tell him Paul said hi when you see him again. I'm in Charlottesville. I don't know if Bimmer Rescue (Patrick McHugh) has the reset tool, but you can contact him here :http://bimmerrescue.com/Bimmer_Rescue/Home.html That M5 on his front page just got rear ended to death (owned by one of his customers.) That poor car
