I recently install a 35w 6000k hid kit. I am getting low beam out error message and lights stay off. If I turn off the engine and restart the error message goes away and the lights come back on but the error comes back later and lights go off. I know I have several options but which is best.

    1. Use hid cancellers
    2. Turn off drl option which gives me manual control of the lights.
    3. Change program to xenon lights.

I also have the same kit on my high beams with no issues.

    Please advise which is best.

    Thanks

I am assuming you did not have xenon lights prior correct? If so then yes you will get a bulb out message and the LM will shut off power to that bulb that is out. There are two ways a bulb is monitored by the module one is hot monitoring and cold monitoring one is for xenon lights and other for standard halogen. HID cancellers don't always work best option is to get rid of the DRL's and program for xenon lights both are done through programming. DRL's are key memory and xenon is a conversion/ retrofit option.
