Modeled on the wildly popular Street Survivalâ„¢ program for teens, the New York Chapter of the BMW Car Club of America is proud to announce an Adult Safety School to be held on Sunday, October 30th, 2011, in Uniondale, New York (Parking Lot 8).

Our skilled instructors will teach you in your car in a controlled environment while you find the limits of your vehicle as well as the limits of your own capacity as a driver.

Our vehicle handling clinic will teach you to:
    - Observe the driving habits that you’ve developed over the years and formulate methods to improve them
    - Learn how to manage the technological distractions that you encounter in your vehicle and on the road
    - Use exercises incorporating emergency maneuvers, accident avoidance, and skidding in low-traction conditions.
    - Help you to develop confidence and security rooted in understanding the limits of your vehicle in a safe environment

The cost of the full-day program is $75. Every make and model is welcome. Minimum age is 21. Helmets not required. If you are interested in attending or have any questions, please email Steven Bernstein at adultsafety_2011 at nybmwcca dot org or telephone +1.917.584.4317

For this school to be scheduled, we will need a minimum number of paid entrants by September 5th, 2011. Before that date, you will receive instructions on how to submit payment at motorsportreg.com. Up-to-date information will also be made available on our Chapter Website.

    See you there!
