My AC compressor just went out on me. There seems to be some confusion as to the correct replacement part. I would like to order the correct compressor and dryer. Is there any way to identify which compressor I have? Help please. The dealership wants $1,100 for a new one. What I have been told is that some compressors have a sensor on the bottom and some have no sensor at all. There is also a difference in the amount of ridges on the pulley. I don't have the luxury of removing the compressor and then ordering the part. I need to take the new parts to the mechanic. Any help would be appreciated. Regards, Mauricio Mendizabal 95 750il
