Anyone know if it's possible to install the motor from a '91 E38 735 into the chassis of a '97 E36, 328i chassis? Motor mounts bolt up directly? Any mods required? Any guidance would be appreciated.
Problem. Is it a 91 E32 735 inline 6 or a 9? E38 V8 Euro? Alpina makes V8 engine mounts that allow a V8 into an E36. If you are in the US, installing an engine from an earlier vehicle is illegal because the car will not meet the emissions standards of the newer car. Please clarify so we can help.
