And the most recent update, yet another suspension change...possibly one more to come lol. UPS dropped these off today, re-valved shocks to my specs (weight/spring rates/shortened front bump stops). Went ahead and installed the rears tonight, couldn't wait.
Modified strut housings for the re-valved bilstein sports...with e30m3 sway bar tabs.. Looking to test all of this out finally at the last autox of this season on the 26th of this month. I want to see how the suspension/rates work out, and if necessary will send a backup set of bilstein sports to bilstein to shorten and re-valve for stiffer rates if I feel that current rates aren't stiff enough with dot r tires in the current config. new plates and tall rear rsm's
Looks like a great autocross setup! Say what?! You guys stop autocrossing in the middle of summer?! I think our last run this year is in December. . .
Yep, sept is last event...well actualyl one more weekend in October for Enduro. I just hope it doesn't rain and I can actually run on dot r tires !

Couple pics with suspension installed. Not too low, and stiff enough but still dd-able. -2.5 camber, 10degrees of caster, 0 toe.
Mounted my autox wheel/tire combo..... had to get the rear inner lip rolled as it was contacting the tire under cornering / load. Amazing how much grip 30 treadwear tires have, but man are they also not very comfortable, much stiffer.
Here is a quick video from the local autocross event. It was actually fastest RAW time in Street Modified class but I kissed a few cones and that added time to the RAW time = no trophy. FFFFFuuuu Everybody in the group was on race tires, e36m3 with 275s on all 4, then a stage 3 gti 1.8t and an audi tt quattro.
