On the following pages you will find statements of interest written by some of your fellow BMW CCA members. Reading these statements will help you understand why they are interested in becoming elected leaders of the club—but whatever their reasons, we applaud their dedication and spirit of volunteerism. Without our volunteer leadership, we would not be the club that we are today.

In order to give all candidates the opportunity to freely express their positions, we neither edit nor correct these statements; unless they are clearly libelous or defamatory, they appear as submitted. Nothing presented in these statements reflects any official position of either Roundel or the BMW CCA, and we cannot be held responsible for any errors of fact. Only the candidates vouch for the accuracy of any facts or allegations contained herein.

If you would like to learn more about our candidates than what you are able to read here, we encourage you to pose questions to the candidates in forums that have been created for each of them.

Voting opens January 4, 2021. All votes must be completed and received by BMW CCA headquarters by 5:00 p.m. EST on February 15, 2021, in order to be counted. Only members in good standing as of December 31, 2020, will be eligible to vote in this election.

For the 2021 BMW CCA election, voting will be done electronically via the Internet using a secure election service. Members will receive an email after January 4, 2021, with a unique link that will allow them to sign in and vote. The online ballot will display all items and races for which the member is eligible to vote. Please note that only members in the North Central and South Atlantic regions will receive the ballot email.

A member who is unable or who chooses not to vote electronically may contact BMW CCA headquarters at 800 878-9292 or 864 250-0022 and request a paper ballot. Paper ballots must be requested by February 8, 2021. Completed ballots must be received by BMW CCA headquarters by 5:00 p.m. EST on February 15, 2021, in order to be counted.

In accordance with Article 5, Section 7 of the BMW Car Club of America bylaws, ballots will not be prepared this year for the position of BMW CCA President because there is only one candidate for the position. That candidate will be certified at the annual BMW CCA general meeting.

    Frank C. Patek, II
    Executive Director
