September 14th - 11th Annual Lake Tahoe Drive It is that time of year again for our Lake Tahoe drive. Our Lake Tahoe drive is one of the best drives we offer during the year, as it is the most "couple" friendly drive. This year we are changing things up a bit by adding some fun optional decals to the mix. The decals are of the image below, and are from the same type of decals we used for our Yellowstone and Grand Tetons road trip. They DO NOT HARM you paint! For those who wish to make this an overnight adventure, we are staying at: Rodeway Inn Casino Center 4127 Pine Blvd, South Lake Tahoe, CA, 96150 (530) 541-7150 Cost for a single room is $89.00 a night plus taxes and fees. The FULL day drive this year will cover 285 miles from start to finish. We will be exploring many of the great back roads around Tahoe, as well as stopping for a few photos along the route. If you wish to run the first leg to Tahoe, it will cover 162 miles of back roads.
Just a end of the week bump. Here are some answers to to a few questions raised. 1. NO - this is not a couples only drive. Any and all are welcome 2. NO - you do not need to buy decals. They are optional as noted in the post 3. For those of you who are coming from the Bay Area. If you want a meet up point, you can use the following. I have no clue how many are coming from the bay so might park some place that you can see each other near the coffee =)
