I just picked up my 2012 X5 from the dealer who installed the SL Headrest Rear Seat Entertainment System, does this only have the capability to provide audio feedback through the wireless headsets?
My wife has the 2011 version and we have the rear seat entertainment system, but it's a tv that pops up from the center arm rest and faces back. In that yours is apparently new and improved, I would imagine it plays through the stereo speakers considering ours does.
Thank you so much for the response. You are right about the single rear seat entertainment system. I read that in the owners manual. I was curious if any had the dual headrest system and whether they were able to hear the audio through the car. The seems to be an option to select for the single system, but we do not appear to have that option.
