Greetings all........I have a 2011 X5D with 43 K on the clock. Went to BMW Nashville TN for a price on the Platinum Warranty to 100 K. The price was well north of $ 6,000. The best they could do was $5,900. Seems pretty high. Looking at the cost of parts for this beast it just may be the thing to do. Appreciate any Comments or Alternatives out there. My thoughts were it would make a resale better. What would you say ? Thanks Ed
That would help resale quite a bit if it can be transferred with the car. Now is that CPO or one of there own warranties they sell? Because BMW does have a extended warranty of there own called CPO and covers over 10,000 items on the vehicle non maintenance related. Not sure what the price would be but 6k is way to high!
It's the BMW Extended Vehicle Protection (Platinum Warranty). Includes Audio/Entertainment Systems and Navigation System with components of both. Ed
