The E89 only comes with 1 power source, in the armrest, and I need another one. Can one be hardwired in the passenger side footwell, or is an adapter available? Thanks.
There is a second power source in the passenger side footwell, I have my radar detector connected to that one.
Power Source I bought an adaptor (with three plug ins) from amazon.com. Look under electronics. I was originally going to put it in the ashtray, but it was too big. I put it in the little net thing on the Passenger side. I plug in my Tom-Tom, radar detector and phone. When I park, I can take the whole thig and put it in the trunk. Will look for the secondary plug in on the pasenger side. I have a 2007 Z4
