The 330 is my favorite e90. I like the power curve and the way it revs strong. With the MT, it is plenty fast. I spent $5,000 last time I had a german twin turbo die on me. I don't need that again. In comparison to the turbo, the N52 is bulletproof. The turbo is great if you are leasing. True.
I agree about the N52 in the E90 330i. It's a great inline 6 and revs out really strong for an N/A 3.0 liter motor. With the 6spd manual and sports package, it is a fun car to drive. A limited slip diff option would have been nice, but BMW is leaving its roots rapidly behind in many respects.
