Is there a reason why the positive battery clamp is badly corroded to the extent it needs replacing? There is no acid apparent, it was cleaned and greased in the fall, now in June it is a brown, corroded mess. What is the fix? I am guessing a new lead will have to be run to the starter. Thanks, Gary
If it is getting corroded the most likely cause is the battery leaking at the terminal causing this to keep happening over and over again. Replacing the battery will fix this issue and of course cleaning the terminals and greased.
