Hello, I recently purchased a 1973, 2002 from the original owner. I even have the cancelled check and bill of sale from the original owner for $5,404.74 when purchased new! Interior is 100% bone stock will very few imperfections. Exterior has the normal dings with a bad maaco respray that was done 10 years ago. It is mechanically 100% with all OEM parts for tuneup's inspections etc. It has been completely gone through and any issues addressed with OEM parts. New OEM alloys and Michelin's were also put on as I will drive it when the weather is nice. I have run 2 tanks of fuel through it after the mechanical shakedown and it drives great! So good that I have left my new BMW in the garage many days! Automatic, Rivera Blue with black interior. Can someone give me any idea of the value for insurance purposes? I am going to have the paint done when I find the right shop. All the door jambs, under hood, under trunk are still factory paint with all stickers and plates untouched. Planning on keeping it for the next 44 years. Thanks for your help
Rob Siegel might be able to tell you something - you could try his email address in the Roundel, or you should be able to dig him up on Facebook. I'm no insurance expert, but I'd guess a stated-value policy would be a good idea. Nice '02!! Welcome to the forums!
Looks like a later dash from a 74 and the Automatic isn’t as desirable as manual. Check Bring A Trailer for any recent comparable sales
