Just bought the wife the latest LG enV TOUCH from Verizon and it paired with the '05 (prod. date: 10/04) X3 okay, but I saw "phone numbers" like #BAL, #225, #MIN, etc., which I first thought to be error codes and so I didn't try to scroll up or down. As it turns out the WHOLE phonebook, including those phone numbers loaded just fine and when I scrolled up and down with the steering wheel arrow buttons, the WHOLE phonebook was there as well. The #BAL, etc., are preprogrammed numbers that Verizon puts on the phone to check your Balance, Minutes, etc. Some other threads on other forums have said that you need to delete the #BAL, etc., numbers because BMW Bluetooth doesn't support special characters (! @ # $ & * etc.) in the phone number. I didn't need to delete the #BAL, etc., numbers...I did change them to "Balance", etc., so that they wouldn't always come up at the top of the list on the radio display. This may or may not work on other models/years.
