   When I hit the lock button on my Keyless entry remote for my 03 325i every now and then I get a chirp from the car after the doors lock.
   
   What does the chirp mean?

   If you have a alarm in the vehicle that's the acoustic warning for the alarm being disabled

   Ok; Not sure if my 325i has the alarm option enable or not.

   A oem alarm is located on the passenger side of the bulk head in the engine compartment.
