I just bought a 528 sport wagon, 1999. I want to put a receiver hitch on it to pull a raft trailer. Does anyone know if the rear lower body panel will allow a hitch to be installed without carving up the body?
Last month I was looking at a 1999 528it for sale and noticed it already had one installed. I did not notice any damage from a quick overall inspection.
Thanks, I installed a hitch last weekend. I took pictures and can post them if anyone is interested. Bumper removal is required and pretty straight forward once the bolts are accessed.
