    Hello All

I'll be in Northern Italy for 2 weeks in early fall this year, flying in/out of Milan
and exploring the Lakes region, Modena area and Venice. Thought it would
be fun to rent a small BMW hatch for the vacation.

Any suggestions/hints for rental sources and vehicle?

Understand Ferrari/Lambo in Modena area offer tours -
    has anyone taken the tours?

Hi, I am wondering about your experience? I was thinking about trying to get track time at the Ferrari test track. I would also like to rent a car in Northern Italy or Southern Germany for a little bit.

Unfortunately, our vacation was cut very short due to a stateside medical emergency,
so we never got to Modena/Ferrari. We made auto reservations thru two firms
(since all deposits were refundable) - SIXT for a Fiat 500L and Europecar for an
Alfa Giulieta, planning on seeing which had the better car when we arrived.

We didn't plan for a test track experience, but had booked several tours (some
notes below). Check out 'http://www.pushstart.it/' for Ferrari test drives.

BTW, Modena is in Emilia Romangna region, famous for food
(Parmigiano-Reggiano, balsamic vinegar, prosciutto di Parma).

    Buon VIaggio!
