Com Box

I am getting a new com box Monday due to the assist no longer working after 12/31. I read on Bimmerfest that it can be coded to allow bluetooth streaming from another device. Does anyone know if this is true? I'd like to have it done if so.

No. It's a non iDrive vehicle.

What kind of BMW is this? Short answer is if the vehicle does not have bluetooth streaming option already it can not be added the Nav and non nav optioned cars use two different combox's

2014 X1. It does have bluetooth but not nav. Guess I'm SOL.

Yes without nav that is a completely different combox.
