I just got a 2012 335i coupe with no front plate. I don't see any mounting holes. How do you mount it? I also want to use a BumpShox plate frame to protect the nose of the car. Thanks.
The plate get centered by counting the blades on the kidney grilles out from the center to the edge of the mounting bracket. The two tabs in the center of the plate bracket I just cut off. BMW wants you to drill holes for those two studs in the front bumper but I don't like drilling those holes.
