I replaced the battery on my Z3 2.3 and now it will not turn over and acts as though the starter is out. Someone told me it was the ibs sensor and that the battery has to be registered. Any help would be great. Trying to get it into a shop and without it running it is problematic. Thanks all.
Your z3 does not have a IBS sensor and does not require registration. Did the vehicle start before the battery? When you turn the ignition do the lights on the instrument cluster come on? I would recheck your battery connections and make sure all the protection caps were removed from the posts.
